1. Introduction

Plant Intel LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the PlantIntel platform at plantintel.io. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

  • Email address
  • Name (if provided)

2.2 Uploaded Data

2.3 Payment Information

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or full payment details on our servers. Stripe provides us with limited transaction information such as the last four digits of your card, transaction amount, and billing email. See Stripe's Privacy Policy for details.

2.4 Usage Data

We automatically collect certain information when you use the Service, including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. This data helps us maintain security, improve the Service, and diagnose technical issues.

  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not use your uploaded manufacturing data for marketing purposes. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. AI and Data Processing

Our Service uses artificial intelligence to analyze your uploaded data. Specifically:

  • Automated analysis: Your CSV data is processed by our forensic analysis engine (28 analyzers) running on our servers. This processing is automated and does not involve third parties.
  • LLM-assisted features: Certain features (such as executive summary generation and mapping assistance) use Anthropic Claude, a third-party large language model. When your data is sent to Anthropic for processing, it is subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy. Anthropic does not use API-submitted data to train their models.
  • Human review: For Professional Tier sessions, your data is reviewed by our mapping specialists to produce deliverables. These specialists are bound by confidentiality obligations.
